Over at On the Tudor Trail

I’m over at the great blog On the Tudor Trail, and have a double giveaway going, including an advance reading copy of the uncorrected page proofs of KEEPER OF THE KING’S SECRETS. All welcome to pop over and read some of the facts I wove into not only IN A TREACHEROUS COURT and KEEPER OF THE KING’S SECRETS but also the short story I’ve written which fits in between the two books DANGEROUS SANCTUARY. Giveaway closes 1 December.

Talking about courtly behaviour in the 16th Century

I’m discussing THE COURTIER, the handbook on courtly behaviour by Count Castillo, written in the early 16th Century, today over at author Cynthia Eden’s blog. I use a rule from THE COURTIER at the start of each chapter of IN A TREACHEROUS COURT, and I’m talking about why I did that, and giving some of my favorite rules. There is also a giveaway of a copy of IN A TREACHEROUS COURT.

Susanna Horenbout

I was thrilled to receive an email this past weekend from the great x 10 grandson of Susanna Horenbout, the heroine of my historical series. You can read my post about it on my group blog, Magical Musings. It was a wonderful reminder that many of my characters were real people, and somehow brings the world I’ve created for them a little more to life for me.
