Veronica Scott is an awesome science fiction romance author, but she’s also a tireless advocate for the SFR genre and writes for numerous blogs and online magazines, promoting and steering readers toward SFR. Veronica’s Badari Warrior series is all about genetically enhanced super soldiers and is full of action and romance. If you could have some enhanced capabilities, what would you choose? I’ll go first and say enhanced sight – I’ve always been short-sighted and would love to see clearly into the distance! 🙂

Since I haven’t read her books before, I can’t say for sure, but it sounds like it might be somewhat similar to Christine Feehan’s Ghostwalker series. Ghostwalkers are an elite fighting force who have been genetically enhanced…some of them with DNA of a non-human variety. That leads to a wide range of possibilities in abilities. Telepathy, animal control, hearing into the super and sub sonic ranges and oh so much more. What would I want? I think, maybe, I would want something along the regeneration (or even rejuvenation) lines. To be able to heal myself of whatever was wrong with me, be it injury or disease, would be a fantastic ability to have.

Like you, I would really like enhanced vision! I’ve worn glasses for WAY too long and my eyes are getting worse!
I would love to be able to look into the distance and see everything clearly without glasses 🙂

I’ve read one of Veronica Scott’s stories in the Embrace the Romance: Pets in Space collection (“Star Cruise: Songbird”). The Badari Warriors series books look like just the kind that I’d like (appealing to the science fiction side), so thank you for introducing them, and thanks to the author for making them available to this giveaway.
I think I’d like to be genetically engineered for speed reflexes — or maybe an augmented computational system as my choice of enhancements.
